¡Sí Se Puede!
Date: November 11-13th, 2016
Deadline to Apply: October 28th, 2016
¡Sí Se Puede! is held once annually on the Missouri S&T campus and is sponsored by the Missouri S&T student chapter of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers and the office of Student Diversity Programs. This weekend retreat is for Hispanic and Latino high school students who would like to learn more about studying science, engineering, or math at Missouri S&T. Through information sessions and hands on workshops students will have the opportunity to explore career options and gain a better understanding of what college life is really like.
Interested students must register to attend and submit required forms within two weeks of registration but no later than November 1. If we have not received forms or communicated with you within two weeks of registering your registration will be canceled. The online application is available by following the link provided below.
Lodging on campus, meals, and supplies will be provided at no cost. Free transportation is available to Rolla from both the Kansas City and St. Louis area pick up locations. Unfortunately airfare cannot be covered if traveling from out of state. Please call 573-341-4212 for pickup locations or for more information.
Due to limited space only the first 25 students to register will be able to attend. If circumstances arise and you are no longer able to attend please notify us as soon as possible so that your spot can be given to another student.
If interested in program after registration closes email Shannon Cox at email@example.com to be placed on a waiting list.
Please direct all questions to Student Diversity, Outreach, and Women's Programs at 573-341-4212 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
